Community Resources
Our participants benefit greatly from exploring and knowing about the larger community. Instruction, work experience and travel training.
Pre-Employment Training
Participants are paired with a Skills Guidance Coach who together develop an individualized plan that aligns with their assessment outcomes.
Job Placement
Our job specialist works closely with SRESS participants to find a job environment and description that suits their current interests, personality, and skill level of the job seeker for a successful match.
Volunteer Services
Individuals have a variety of community-based employers, volunteer and career centers to be exposed to while gaining knowledge about workplace expectations.
Micro Business Entrepreneurship
Each individual Person-Centered-Plan is a critical aspect of our program. It involves a process and approach for determining, planning and working toward what an individual wants.
Post-Secondary Education
SRESS is committed to ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the right to a college education, employment and being self-sufficient.
Paid Internship Program
SRESS has built relationships with a variety of local businesses that are ready to participate in the paid internship program.
Vocational Training/Career Assessment
Assisting interns in exploration, assessment and training only as necessary and for specific reasons, with careful thought about how these will lead to paid employment.
